Swipe left or swipe right? Wink? Poke? Like? That's how it all starts now-a-days...
Cupid's arrow nailed it on December 18th, 2013 when we met at a jazz bar. After many drinks, and carrying on a very long and loud conversation (with many disgruntled looks from other people at the bar) we had the fastest and longest first date of 6 hours. After that night we both knew we were going to get married, it was just a matter of when. Dates that followed included sharing our respective prowess in karaoke, building small robots and deLoreans out of Legos, and taking a cue from Olaf and building a snowman (which would later become key in our engagement). Since those early dates, our budding family has grown to include our puppy, Oliver, who has from the beginning reveled in loving belly rubs and turning our small apartment into his own personal Petco.
After dating for almost a year and a half, Matt decided to heed Beyonce's words of wisdom and put a ring on it... On a long walk through Central Park with Oliver we stopped and, where Adi had previously asked to build a snowman, Matt now asked for her hand in marriage!
